South African actress Nomzamo Mbatha has once again demonstrated her commitment to empowering women by awarding a businesswoman with R200,000. The star handed the cheque to Mpho Hlongwane-Nkgabutle, the founder of MH Automotive Engineering, during the Empowering Her 2024 Business Awards Seminar.

Nomzamo Mbatha, known for her philanthropic efforts, recently rewarded two exceptional young businesswomen as part of her initiative to support female entrepreneurs. Dudu M, who runs a coal mining business, received R100,000, while Mpho Hlongwane-Nkgabutle, the grand prize winner, was awarded R200,000 for her outstanding work in the automotive industry.



Nomzamo shared a video of the moment she handed over the cheque to Mpho on her Instagram page, accompanied by a heartfelt caption:
“Our @nomzamo_lighthouse 2024 EmpoweringHer Women in Business Grand Prize Winner. One of the most impressive women I’ve ever met. MH is an automotive business that assembles and supplies Ford with parts for some of their models. With 59 full-time staff and operating in a 2000 square meter plant, Mpho is only going up from here.”
