Ngizwe Mchunu Won't Back Down or Apologise to Gqom Sensation Sizwe Mdlalose Over Homophobic Slurs
Controversial radio personality Ngizwe Mchunu has found himself in hot water after launching a series of verbal attacks against Gqom music sensation Sizwe Mdlalose. The feud escalated when Mchunu directed homophobic slurs at the *Izithunywa* hitmaker, all because Mdlalose defended women after TikTokker Tamara made disparaging remarks about single mothers. Despite the backlash, Mchunu has refused to back down or apologise to Mdlalose.

The drama began when Ngizwe Mchunu went live on TikTok to defend single mothers against controversial statements made by user Tamara. In a now-viral clip, Mchunu accused Mdlalose of meddling in matters that don’t concern him and made homophobic remarks about the Gqom star.
Mchunu stated:
*“Sizwe is gay. He defeated DJ Tira, and even though this gay is trying, why is he commenting on issues that portray the truth? The truth will always be the truth. Tamara is the best of them all.”*
Despite the harsh words, Mdlalose has maintained his respect for Mchunu, acknowledging him as his elder.
